2005 Mardi Gras Pictures
| It was a chilly evening with
temperatures in the mid-forties when these pictures were
taken in downtown Eunice at about 9 p.m. Elwood Charles and
Swamp Magic were in front of Dee's Cajun Gifts warming up
the street with swamp pop classics. Inside Nick's Courtyard,
Jr. Melancon and the Come Down Playboys were playing hot
two-steps, waltzes and even a jitterbug, filling up the
wooden dance floor with a good crowd. Music in downtown
Eunice continues through Mardi Gras Day.
